Lifelong Relationships
MCS offers the most complete, progressive school curriculum for students in elementary and middle school. In addition to rigorous and competitive instruction in areas of Math, Science, Language Arts and Social Studies, we are the only Guam school to offer full mandatory courses in Religion, Music, Chamorro Language, Physical Education, and Art.
This year, MCS reaches another milestone by being the first Guam school to implement of the new Ysrael School Of Business which will promote and enhance comprehensive, higher level Business Curriculum and Junior Achievement Programs in elementary school and middle school. In 2017-2018, MCS will continue the business programs pioneered over the past few years and further expand these activities while including business, finance, economics, management and marketing into our MCS Middle School curriculum. Over the past couple of years, MCS has held Personal Finance & Expenditures activities, hosted Retail Bizarres, Business Fairs, and Business Plan & Development events. For 2017-2018, MCS will continue and expand these activities through the Ysrael School of Business, as well as continued partnerships with Guam’s business community throughout the school year. The MCS curriculum will add business and economics instruction primarily through participation in the elementary and middle school Junior Achievement Programs.

MCS strongly encourages and offers students and parents the greatest opportunity for additional learning through sports and many other extra-curricular activities. MCS produces events ensuring students enjoy early learning experiences working independently and performing collectively as a team with MCS families and in our communities. MCS creates some of the most intense and memorable student moments. In the last nine (9) years MCS has earned more titles and awards in every subject area than any other school on Guam. Additionally, we have won more championships in sports, our Phoenix Stage Band continues is now recognized as the best school band ever, and our students have hosted events and productions frequently performing on stage for large audiences. MCS strives to create valuable “face time” for our students, and at MCS all students participate and are challenged to contribute their very best inside and outside the classroom. It is no surprise that more Top 5 elementary students island-wide, from Yigo to Umatac, choose to attend Mount Carmel Middle School than any other school on Guam. Our reputation and success lead MCS to be the only elementary and middle school with students from every village on Guam.
